🍽️ Zesty Lemon-Orange Butter

Ingredients
- 250 g Butter
- 1 tbsp grated lemon zest (from one untreated lemon)
- 1 tbsp grated orange zest (from one untreated orange)
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp orange juice
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- 1 tsp Grand Marnier
Instructions
- 1. Take soft butter and beat it in a bowl until creamy.
- 2. Add the fine lemon zest and the fine orange zest to the butter and mix everything well.
- 3. Stir the fresh lemon juice and the fresh orange juice into the butter mixture.
- 4. Season the butter with a pinch of salt and a pinch of freshly ground pepper.
- 5. Add a splash of Grand Marnier (orange liqueur) and stir it in.
- 6. Shape the finished butter into a compact roll.
- 7. Wrap the butter roll tightly in aluminum foil.
- 8. Place the wrapped butter in the refrigerator for at least one hour to firm up.
- 9. Slice the cold butter roll into thick slices before serving.
