🍽️ Garlic Lemon Shrimp

Ingredients
- 2 garlic cloves
- 3 sprigs parsley
- 3 sprigs chervil
- 3 tbsp butter
- 150 ml fish stock
- 20 ml anise liqueur (e.g. Pernod)
- 1 lemon (juice)
- 20 g tiger shrimp (kitchen-ready, deveined and peeled except for the tail segment)
Instructions
- 1. Peel the garlic and cut it into very small cubes.
- 2. Wash the herbs thoroughly and shake them dry.
- 3. Pluck the leaves from the stems and chop them finely.
- 4. Heat 2 tablespoons of butter in a hot pan.
- 5. Sauté the garlic briefly.
- 6. Deglaze the pan with the stock.
- 7. Add the anise.
- 8. Let the mixture simmer briefly.
- 9. Add the lemon juice.
- 10. Add the chopped herbs.
- 11. Season the sauce with salt and pepper.
- 12. Rinse the shrimp under running water.
- 13. Pat the shrimp dry with a kitchen towel.
- 14. Heat the remaining butter in a different pan.
- 15. Fry the shrimp for 2 to 3 minutes.
- 16. Remove the shrimp from the pan.
- 17. Place the shrimp on deep plates.
- 18. Pour the sauce over the shrimp.
- 19. Serve the dish immediately.
- 20. Serve baguette on the side if desired.
