  1. 1. Peel the garlic and cut it into very small cubes.
  2. 2. Wash the herbs thoroughly and shake them dry.
  3. 3. Pluck the leaves from the stems and chop them finely.
  4. 4. Heat 2 tablespoons of butter in a hot pan.
  5. 5. Sauté the garlic briefly.
  6. 6. Deglaze the pan with the stock.
  7. 7. Add the anise.
  8. 8. Let the mixture simmer briefly.
  9. 9. Add the lemon juice.
  10. 10. Add the chopped herbs.
  11. 11. Season the sauce with salt and pepper.
  12. 12. Rinse the shrimp under running water.
  13. 13. Pat the shrimp dry with a kitchen towel.
  14. 14. Heat the remaining butter in a different pan.
  15. 15. Fry the shrimp for 2 to 3 minutes.
  16. 16. Remove the shrimp from the pan.
  17. 17. Place the shrimp on deep plates.
  18. 18. Pour the sauce over the shrimp.
  19. 19. Serve the dish immediately.
  20. 20. Serve baguette on the side if desired.
