  3. 3. Cut the bell peppers into quarters.
  4. 4. Dice the pepper pieces very finely.
  5. 5. Slice the chili pepper in half lengthwise.
  6. 6. Remove the seeds from the chili pepper.
  7. 7. Rinse the chili pepper.
  8. 8. Finely chop the chili pepper.
  9. 9. Peel the onion.
  10. 10. Cut the onion into very small cubes.
  11. 11. Peel the garlic cloves.
  12. 12. Finely chop the garlic.
  13. 13. Heat the oil in a pan.
  14. 14. Add the diced peppers, chili, onions, and garlic to the hot pan.
  15. 15. Sauté the vegetables for 3 to 4 minutes while stirring constantly.
  16. 16. Add the tomato ketchup to the pan.
  17. 17. Pour in the vegetable broth.
  18. 18. Let the sauce simmer for 5 to 6 minutes over medium heat.
  19. 19. Stir regularly while cooking.
  20. 20. Remove the pan from the heat.
