🍽️ Spicy Pepper Sauce

Ingredients
- 1 red bell pepper
- 1 yellow bell pepper
- 1 red chili pepper
- 1 red onion
- 1 garlic clove
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 300 ml tomato ketchup
- 75 ml vegetable broth
- 2 tbsp hot mustard
Instructions
- 1. Wash the bell peppers thoroughly.
- 2. Remove the seeds and white pith from the bell peppers.
- 3. Cut the bell peppers into quarters.
- 4. Dice the pepper pieces very finely.
- 5. Slice the chili pepper in half lengthwise.
- 6. Remove the seeds from the chili pepper.
- 7. Rinse the chili pepper.
- 8. Finely chop the chili pepper.
- 9. Peel the onion.
- 10. Cut the onion into very small cubes.
- 11. Peel the garlic cloves.
- 12. Finely chop the garlic.
- 13. Heat the oil in a pan.
- 14. Add the diced peppers, chili, onions, and garlic to the hot pan.
- 15. Sauté the vegetables for 3 to 4 minutes while stirring constantly.
- 16. Add the tomato ketchup to the pan.
- 17. Pour in the vegetable broth.
- 18. Let the sauce simmer for 5 to 6 minutes over medium heat.
- 19. Stir regularly while cooking.
- 20. Remove the pan from the heat.
- 21. Stir the mustard into the warm sauce.
- 22. Serve the sauce hot or cold.
