🍽️ Goat Cheese and Onion Tarts

Ingredients
- 250 g puff pastry (frozen)
- Oil (for the molds)
- 3 red onions
- 2 eggs
- 200 ml whipping cream
- 2 tbsp crème fraîche
- 2 tbsp freshly chopped parsley
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- 6 slices goat cheese (log)
- chopped parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- 1. Let the puff pastry thaw at room temperature.
- 2. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius fan-assisted.
- 3. Brush the tart molds with a little oil.
- 4. Roll out the dough on a floured surface to a thickness of 3 to 4 millimeters.
- 5. Cut out circles from the dough that are slightly larger than your tart molds.
- 6. Place the dough circles into the molds and press them gently inside.
- 7. Trim the excess dough from the edges of the molds with a knife.
- 8. Peel the onions and cut them into thin wedges.
- 9. Whisk the eggs in a bowl with the cream and crème fraîche.
- 10. Finely chop the parsley and stir it into the egg mixture.
- 11. Season the liquid with salt and pepper to taste.
- 12. Distribute the onion wedges evenly over the dough bases.
- 13. Carefully pour the egg mixture over the onions.
- 14. Place one slice of goat cheese on each tart.
- 15. Bake the tarts for about 30 minutes in the oven until golden brown.
- 16. Carefully remove the tarts from the molds.
- 17. Sprinkle them with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
