🍳 Creamy Goat Cheese Sandwich with Cranberries

Ingredients
- 1 tbsp cranberries (from the jar)
- 2 tsp Dijon mustard
- 0.5 chicory
- 3 leaves frisée lettuce
- 4 slices whole wheat toast
- 4 slices goat gouda (or other savory cheese to your liking)
Instructions
- 1. Thoroughly mix the cranberries with the Dijon mustard in a small bowl.
- 2. Rinse the chicory and frisée lettuce under running water.
- 3. Dry the leaves thoroughly or spin them in a salad spinner.
- 4. Tear the lettuce leaves into small, bite-sized pieces.
- 5. Take two slices of bread and spread half of the cranberry-mustard mixture onto one side of each slice.
- 6. Place the prepared lettuce leaves evenly on top of the buttered bread slices.
- 7. Distribute the goat cheese evenly over the lettuce.
- 8. Take the remaining bread slices and spread the rest of the mustard mixture on them.
- 9. Place these slices on top as the lid, with the mustard side facing inward.
- 10. If you want to take the sandwich with you, wrap it tightly in clear plastic film.
- 11. Store the wrapped sandwich in a cool place until you are ready to eat it.
- 12. If you want to eat the sandwich immediately, cut it in half.
- 13. Place the halves on a plate and serve immediately.
