  1. 1. Thoroughly mix the cranberries with the Dijon mustard in a small bowl.
  2. 2. Rinse the chicory and frisée lettuce under running water.
  3. 3. Dry the leaves thoroughly or spin them in a salad spinner.
  4. 4. Tear the lettuce leaves into small, bite-sized pieces.
  5. 5. Take two slices of bread and spread half of the cranberry-mustard mixture onto one side of each slice.
  6. 6. Place the prepared lettuce leaves evenly on top of the buttered bread slices.
  7. 7. Distribute the goat cheese evenly over the lettuce.
  8. 8. Take the remaining bread slices and spread the rest of the mustard mixture on them.
  9. 9. Place these slices on top as the lid, with the mustard side facing inward.
  10. 10. If you want to take the sandwich with you, wrap it tightly in clear plastic film.
  11. 11. Store the wrapped sandwich in a cool place until you are ready to eat it.
  12. 12. If you want to eat the sandwich immediately, cut it in half.
  13. 13. Place the halves on a plate and serve immediately.
