🍽️ Grilled Goat Cheese with Olives, Peppers, and Tomato Salad

Ingredients
- 500 g Goat cheese (log)
- 4 Garlic cloves
- 6 tbsp Olive oil
- 50 g Olives
- 4 marinated Peppers (jar)
- 2 Shallots
- 5 Tomatoes
- 1 tbsp Lemon juice
- Salt
- Pepper (from the mill)
- Aluminum foil
Instructions
- 1. Cut the goat cheese into four equal slices.
- 2. Peel the garlic clove and press it through a garlic press.
- 3. Mix the pressed garlic with four tablespoons of olive oil in a small bowl.
- 4. Divide a sheet of aluminum foil into four equal squares (each 30 by 30 centimeters).
- 5. Brush the shiny side of each foil square with a spoonful of the garlic-oil mixture.
- 6. Place one slice of goat cheese in the center of each foil square.
- 7. Gently pat the olives and peppers dry with kitchen paper.
- 8. Distribute the olives and peppers around the cheese on the foil.
- 9. Drizzle the remaining garlic-oil mixture over the filling.
- 10. Close the aluminum foil tightly around the filling and press the edges securely.
- 11. Peel the shallots and chop them finely.
- 12. Wash the tomatoes thoroughly.
- 13. Quarter the tomatoes and remove the core.
- 14. Dice the cored tomato quarters into small cubes.
- 15. Add the chopped shallots and tomato cubes to a bowl.
- 16. Add lemon juice and two tablespoons of olive oil to the vegetables.
- 17. Season the salad with salt and pepper to taste.
- 18. Preheat your grill and set it to medium heat.
- 19. Place the foil packets on the hot grill grate.
- 20. Grill the packets for three to four minutes on the first side.
- 21. Turn the packets over and grill for another three to four minutes on the other side.
- 22. Remove the grilled packets from the grill and place them on plates.
- 23. Carefully open the aluminum foil to expose the hot cheese.
- 24. Serve the grilled goat cheese directly with the fresh tomato salad.
