🍽️ Marinated Goat Cheese with Herbs

Ingredients
- 250 g goat feta
- 250 g goat fresh cheese rounds
- 1 red, mild pepper (chili)
- 2 garlic cloves
- 0.5 untreated lemon
- 4 rosemary sprigs
- 200 ml olive oil
- coarse salt
- 1 tsp dried chili flakes
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the jars with boiling water.
- 2. Place the jars upside down on a kitchen towel and let them dry.
- 3. Cut the feta into slices about 0.5 cm thick.
- 4. Layer the feta slices and the cream cheese discs into the jars.
- 5. Cut the chili pepper lengthwise into thin rings.
- 6. Peel the garlic and slice it thinly.
- 7. Wash the lemon thoroughly with hot water and dry it.
- 8. Slice the lemon thinly.
- 9. Pluck the needles off the rosemary sprigs.
- 10. Add the chili rings, garlic slices, lemon slices, and sage leaves to the jars.
- 11. Fill the jars completely with oil.
- 12. Sprinkle some salt and chili flakes on top.
- 13. Seal the jars tightly.
- 14. Let the jars infuse in a cool, dark place for about 1 week.
