  2. 2. Wash the lemon thoroughly and pat it dry.
  3. 3. Finely grate the lemon zest and squeeze out the juice.
  4. 4. Toss the cheese slices briefly in the lemon juice to coat them.
  5. 5. Sprinkle the cheese with the lemon zest and fresh pepper.
  6. 6. Wrap each individual cheese slice in a single grape leaf.
  7. 7. Secure each packet firmly with a wooden skewer.
  8. 8. Brush the outside of the grape leaves with oil.
  9. 9. Place the packets on the hot grill in the outer area.
  10. 10. Grill the packets for about 2 to 3 minutes on each side.
  11. 11. Serve the warm packets hot together with white bread and wine.
