  1. 1. Wash the cucumbers thoroughly.
  2. 2. Cut the cucumbers in half.
  3. 3. Remove the seeds with a spoon.
  4. 4. Grate the cucumber flesh coarsely.
  5. 5. Mix the grated cucumber with one teaspoon of salt.
  6. 6. Let the mixture sit for ten minutes.
  7. 7. Rinse the cucumber under cold water.
  8. 8. Squeeze the water out of the cucumber.
  9. 9. Set aside one or two tablespoons of the cucumber.
  10. 10. Mix the remaining cucumber with the yogurt.
  11. 11. Peel the garlic cloves.
  12. 12. Press the garlic directly into the yogurt mixture.
  13. 13. Stir everything well.
  14. 14. Season the sauce with vinegar and salt to taste.
  15. 15. Place the sauce in a bowl.
  16. 16. Decorate the surface with the reserved cucumber pieces.
