  1. 1. Rinse the bell peppers thoroughly under running water.
  2. 2. Cut the bell peppers into small cubes measuring about 2 by 3 centimeters.
  3. 3. Leave some of the large sausages whole.
  4. 4. Cut the remaining large sausages into pieces about 4 centimeters long.
  5. 5. Keep the small sausages whole as well.
  6. 6. Make several diagonal slashes into the surface of the sausages with a knife.
  7. 7. Thread sausages and bell pepper pieces onto the skewers in an alternating pattern.
  8. 8. Thread the large sausage pieces twice onto the skewers to make them more stable.
  9. 9. Place the skewers on the grill for about 8 minutes.
  10. 10. Turn the skewers occasionally during the grilling time.
  11. 11. Brush the skewers with beer repeatedly in between.
