  2. 2. Cut the peeled potatoes into roughly equal-sized pieces.
  3. 3. Place the potato pieces into a pot.
  4. 4. Pour 100 milliliters of water and a pinch of salt over the potatoes.
  5. 5. Bring the water with the potatoes to a boil.
  6. 6. Reduce the heat to a low setting.
  7. 7. Cover the pot with a lid.
  8. 8. Let the potatoes cook on low heat for about 20 minutes.
  9. 9. After 10 minutes of cooking time, add the frozen peas directly into the pot.
  10. 10. Let the peas cook together with the potatoes in the pot.
  11. 11. In the meantime, get a bowl.
  12. 12. Add two tablespoons of flour to the bowl.
  13. 13. Crack an egg into the bowl with the flour.
  14. 14. Pour the sparkling water over the other ingredients.
  15. 15. Whisk everything together with a whisk until you have a smooth batter.
  16. 16. Season the batter with salt and pepper.
  17. 17. Slice the meat sausage into slices about half a centimeter thick.
  18. 18. Place the remaining flour onto a plate.
  19. 19. Coat each sausage slice thoroughly in the flour on the plate.
  20. 20. Heat one tablespoon of oil in a large non-stick frying pan.
  21. 21. Dip the floured sausage slices one by one into the batter.
  22. 22. Place the dipped sausage slices immediately into the hot oil.
  23. 23. Fry the sausage cutlets until golden brown on both sides.
  24. 24. Pour the milk into the pot with the potato and pea mixture.
  25. 25. Mash everything into a fine puree using a potato masher.
  26. 26. Finally, season the puree with salt and pepper.
  27. 27. Grate some fresh nutmeg over the puree.
  28. 28. Serve the green puree together with the crispy sausage cutlets.
