🍽️ Blood Sausage Salad with Onion Marinade

Ingredients
- 500 g blood sausage
- 5 onions
- 5 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 2 tbsp mustard (medium hot)
- 4 tbsp rapeseed oil
- 4 tbsp water
- salt
- pepper
- 2 tsp mustard seeds (lightly crushed)
Instructions
- 1. Cut the blood sausage into bite-sized pieces.
- 2. Peel the onions and slice them into thin rings.
- 3. Briefly pour hot water over the onion rings to make them milder (optional).
- 4. Thoroughly mix all the dressing ingredients together in a bowl.
- 5. Season the dressing to your taste.
- 6. Add the onion rings to the dressing and stir them in.
- 7. Let the onions marinate in the dressing for about 30 minutes.
- 8. Arrange the blood sausage pieces on a serving plate.
- 9. Pour the onion dressing mixture over the sausage.
- 10. Let the salad rest for another 15 minutes to let the flavors meld.
- 11. Sprinkle some fresh pepper on top.
- 12. Serve the salad immediately.
