🍽️ Marinated Sausage and Onion Skewers with Crispy Potato Slices

Ingredients
- 3 blue onions
- 24 Nuremberg roast sausages (or tofu roast sausages)
- 3 garlic cloves
- 2 tbsp hoisin sauce
- 1 tbsp light soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sunflower oil
- 8 potatoes (from the day before)
- frying oil
- salt
- corn on the cob (for serving)
- salad (for serving)
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 100 degrees Celsius.
- 2. Peel the onions and cut them into wedges.
- 3. Thread the onion wedges and the sausages alternately onto the skewers.
- 4. Finely chop the garlic clove and the remaining onion pieces.
- 5. Mix the chopped vegetables with the hoisin sauce, soy sauce, and oil.
- 6. Place the skewers in the marinade and let them marinate.
- 7. Peel the potatoes and slice them thinly.
- 8. Fry the potato slices in hot frying oil for 3 minutes until golden yellow.
- 9. Let the potatoes drain and pat them dry on kitchen paper to absorb excess fat.
- 10. Keep the potatoes warm in the oven at 100 degrees Celsius.
- 11. Cook the skewers on the hot grill for about 7 minutes on all sides.
