  1. 1. Peel the onion and the garlic.
  2. 2. Dice the onion and the garlic finely.
  3. 3. Rinse the sauerkraut in a colander under running water.
  4. 4. Let the sauerkraut drain well.
  5. 5. Heat the oil in a pot.
  6. 6. Fry the onion and garlic cubes in it until light brown.
  7. 7. Add the drained sauerkraut.
  8. 8. Fry the cabbage while stirring for another 3 to 4 minutes.
  9. 9. Sprinkle the cabbage with paprika powder.
  10. 10. Stir in the white wine.
  11. 11. Pour in the apple juice.
  12. 12. Bring the mixture to a boil.
  13. 13. Simmer the sauerkraut over medium heat for 20 minutes.
  14. 14. Stir the sauerkraut occasionally while cooking.
  15. 15. Pour in the soy cream.
  16. 16. Let the dish cook for another 5 minutes.
  17. 17. Season the sauerkraut with salt.
  18. 18. Season the sauerkraut with pepper.
  19. 19. Season the sauerkraut with apple syrup.
