  3. 3. Cook the potatoes for about 30 minutes until tender.
  4. 4. Wash the chicken and pat it dry with a kitchen towel.
  5. 5. Cut the chicken into 8 equal pieces.
  6. 6. Season the meat pieces with salt and pepper.
  7. 7. Cut the bacon into thin strips.
  8. 8. Heat a pan and render the bacon in it without adding extra fat.
  9. 9. Fry the chicken pieces in the bacon fat until golden brown on all sides.
  10. 10. Peel the onions and dice them finely.
  11. 11. Crush the garlic cloves.
  12. 12. Add the onions and garlic to the chicken in the pan.
  13. 13. Sauté the vegetables briefly until fragrant.
  14. 14. Add the rosemary to the pan.
  15. 15. Deglaze the mixture with the wine.
  16. 16. Pour in the broth.
  17. 17. Season the sauce again with salt and pepper.
  18. 18. Simmer the chicken over medium heat for about 45 minutes.
