Ingredients
- 300 g spinach leaves (frozen)
- 1 onion
- 1 garlic clove
- 1 tbsp oil
- salt
- pepper
- 2 tbsp poultry broth
- 200 ml soy cream
- nutmeg
Instructions
- 1. Let the frozen spinach thaw completely.
- 2. Peel the onion and the garlic.
- 3. Finely chop the onion and the garlic.
- 4. Squeeze the thawed spinach well to remove excess liquid.
- 5. Chop the squeezed spinach into coarse pieces.
- 6. Heat the oil in a pot.
- 7. Sauté the onions and garlic over medium heat until soft and translucent.
- 8. Add the chopped spinach to the pot.
- 9. Sauté the spinach for one minute.
- 10. Season the mixture with salt and pepper.
- 11. Pour the vegetable broth into the pot.
- 12. Add the soy cream sauce.
- 13. Stir everything well until combined.
- 14. Let the spinach simmer until the sauce is creamy and thickened.
- 15. Taste the dish again and adjust with salt and pepper.
- 16. Grate a pinch of nutmeg over the spinach.
- 17. Serve the spinach warm.
