🍽️ Spicy Bean Dip

Ingredients
- 425 g white beans (can; drained weight)
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 sprig rosemary
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- salt
- pepper
- 1 small lemon
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the beans in a colander under cold water.
- 2. Then let the beans drain well.
- 3. Peel the garlic cloves.
- 4. Slice the garlic into thin pieces.
- 5. Wash the rosemary sprig under running water.
- 6. Shake the rosemary dry.
- 7. Put the oil and the rosemary sprig into a frying pan.
- 8. Heat the oil in the pan.
- 9. Fry the garlic until golden yellow over low heat.
- 10. Add the drained beans to the pan.
- 11. Add 50 milliliters of water.
- 12. Let the mixture simmer for 5 minutes over low heat.
- 13. Remove the rosemary sprig from the pan and discard it.
- 14. Transfer the beans into a bowl.
- 15. Mash the beans into a puree using a potato masher.
- 16. Squeeze the lemon.
- 17. Season the bean cream with salt.
- 18. Season the bean cream with pepper.
- 19. Add lemon juice to taste.
