  1. 1. Place the dried tomatoes in a small bowl.
  2. 2. Pour boiling water over them.
  3. 3. Let the tomatoes soak in the water for 15 minutes.
  4. 4. Cook the pasta in plenty of salted water according to the package instructions until al dente.
  5. 5. Drain the mozzarella well.
  6. 6. Tear the cheese into small pieces.
  7. 7. Wash the oregano and shake it dry.
  8. 8. Pluck the leaves from the stems.
  9. 9. Finely chop the oregano leaves.
  10. 10. Drain the soaking water from the tomatoes.
  11. 11. Squeeze the tomatoes lightly.
  12. 12. Dice the tomatoes coarsely.
  13. 13. Heat the olive oil in a pan.
  14. 14. Toast the pine nuts over medium heat, stirring, for 2 to 3 minutes until lightly browned.
  15. 15. Add the diced tomatoes to the pan.
  16. 16. Sauté the tomatoes briefly.
  17. 17. Take 2 tablespoons of the hot pasta water.
  18. 18. Stir the pasta water into the tomatoes.
  19. 19. Drain the pasta.
  20. 20. Let the pasta drain well.
  21. 21. Add the pasta to the pan.
  22. 22. Mix the pasta thoroughly with the pine nuts and tomatoes.
  23. 23. Fold the mozzarella into the pasta.
  24. 24. Fold the chopped oregano into the pasta.
