  1. 1. Peel the shallot and the garlic. Chop both ingredients finely. Wash the chili pepper. Cut it in half lengthwise. Remove the seeds. Chop the chili finely too. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a pan. Add the shallot, garlic, and chili to the hot pan. Sauté the vegetables until translucent. Add the capers. Add the coriander. Add the cumin. Add the paprika powder. Sauté the spices briefly. Remove the pan from the heat. Transfer the mixture to a bowl. Let it cool down.
  2. 2. Rinse the herbs under running water. Shake them dry. Pluck the leaves from the stems. Chop the herbs finely. Take the minced meat. Take the egg. Mix the meat and the egg with the cooled spice mixture. Knead the mixture well. Season with salt. Season with pepper. Form about 20 small balls from the mixture. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a pan. Fry the balls in batches. Fry them brown on all sides. Remove the finished balls from the pan.
  3. 3. Bring salted water to a boil. Blanch the green beans for approx. 2 minutes. Shock the beans with cold water. Peel the skins off the bean kernels. Wash the spring onions. Trim them. Slice them into rings. Add the beans and the spring onions to the pan used for the meatballs. Sauté the vegetables briefly. Deglaze with the broth. Deglaze with the lemon juice. Cover the pan. Simmer the vegetables over low heat for approx. 10 minutes.
  4. 4. Rinse the oregano under running water. Shake it dry. Pluck the leaves. Chop the leaves finely. Add the meatballs to the beans. Add the oregano to the beans. Cover the pan. Finish cooking the dish for another approx. 15 minutes. Add more broth if needed.
  5. 5. Crumble the feta cheese over the dish. Season with salt. Season with pepper. Serve the food.
