🍽️ Spicy Chicken Drumsticks

Ingredients
- 0.5 Orange
- 1080 g chicken drumsticks (12 chicken drumsticks)
- 5 tbsp ketchup
- 2 tbsp liquid honey
- salt
- pepper
- 2 small onions
- 0.5 bunch parsley
- 800 g waxy potatoes
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tsp paprika powder (mild)
- 600 ml poultry broth
Instructions
- 1. Squeeze the orange.
- 2. Wash the chicken drumsticks.
- 3. Pat the chicken drumsticks dry with a kitchen towel.
- 4. Place the chicken drumsticks in a bowl.
- 5. Add ketchup to the bowl.
- 6. Add honey to the bowl.
- 7. Add three tablespoons of orange juice to the bowl.
- 8. Season the mixture with salt.
- 9. Season the mixture with pepper.
- 10. Mix everything well.
- 11. Cover the bowl.
- 12. Place the bowl in the refrigerator for one hour.
- 13. Peel the onions.
- 14. Slice the onions into very thin rings.
- 15. Wash the parsley.
- 16. Shake the parsley dry.
- 17. Pluck the parsley leaves from the stems.
- 18. Finely chop the parsley leaves.
- 19. Peel the potatoes.
- 20. Wash the potatoes.
- 21. Slice the potatoes into five millimeter thick slices using a vegetable slicer.
- 22. Place the potato slices in a bowl.
- 23. Add the onion rings to the bowl.
- 24. Add the chopped parsley to the bowl.
- 25. Add olive oil to the bowl.
- 26. Add paprika powder to the bowl.
- 27. Season the potato mixture with salt.
- 28. Season the potato mixture with pepper.
- 29. Mix the potato mixture well.
- 30. Preheat the oven to two hundred degrees Celsius.
- 31. Spread the potato mixture onto a deep baking sheet.
- 32. Spread the potato mixture thinly on the sheet.
- 33. Pour about four hundred milliliters of broth over the potatoes.
- 34. Place the sheet in the preheated oven.
- 35. Bake the potatoes for ten minutes.
- 36. Remove the chicken drumsticks from the marinade.
- 37. Let the chicken drumsticks drip dry.
- 38. Place the chicken drumsticks on top of the potatoes.
- 39. Place the sheet back in the oven.
- 40. Bake the chicken drumsticks for thirty to thirty-five minutes.
- 41. Check if the potatoes have absorbed the broth.
- 42. Add more broth if necessary.
- 43. Remove the sheet from the oven.
- 44. Serve the dish directly from the sheet.
