  3. 3. Place the minced beef (tartare) and the curry paste in a bowl.
  4. 4. Mix the ingredients well with the chopped peppercorns.
  5. 5. Season the mixture lightly with salt.
  6. 6. Peel the onion and slice it into thin rings.
  7. 7. Wash the lettuce leaves thoroughly.
  8. 8. Dry the lettuce, for example in a salad spinner.
  9. 9. Also wash the tomato thoroughly.
  10. 10. Slice the tomato into even slices.
  11. 11. Divide the meat mixture into two equal portions.
  12. 12. Shape the portions into two flat burger patties.
  13. 13. Heat a grill pan on the stovetop.
  14. 14. Brush the hot pan thinly with the oil.
  15. 15. Place the burger patties and the onion rings in the pan.
  16. 16. Grill the burgers for about 2 to 3 minutes on each side.
  17. 17. Slice the buns in half horizontally.
  18. 18. Place the dry lettuce leaves on the bottom bun halves.
