🍽️ Spicy Marinated Mini Mozzarella

Ingredients
- 2 tsp herbs de Provence (dried)
- 1 fresh red chili pepper
- lemons (juice)
- 1 tbsp coarsely ground peppercorns
- 5 garlic cloves
- 2 shallots
- 100 ml water
- 6 small mozzarella (cut into thick slices)
- 3 bay leaves
- 0.5 l olive oil
- salt
Instructions
- 1. Peel the garlic cloves.
- 2. Peel the shallots.
- 3. Wash the chili pepper thoroughly.
- 4. Remove the seeds from the chili pepper.
- 5. Cut the deseeded chili pepper into small pieces.
- 6. Place the garlic cloves into an airtight jar.
- 7. Add the shallots to the jar.
- 8. Add the mini mozzarella to the jar.
- 9. Distribute the herbs among the ingredients in the jar.
- 10. Add the chopped chili peppers to the jar.
- 11. Sprinkle the pepper over the ingredients.
- 12. Add the bay leaves to the jar.
- 13. Mix the lemon juice with the olive oil.
- 14. Pour the oil-lemon mixture over the ingredients in the jar.
- 15. Let the mixture marinate for about 10 days in a cool place.
- 16. Serve the mozzarella with arugula if desired.
