🍽️ Sausage Goulash

Ingredients
- 1 large onion
- 1 clove garlic
- 8 pairs coarse frying sausages
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- salt
- pepper
- 0.5 tsp paprika powder
- 1 bay leaf
- 0.5 tsp curry powder
- 100 ml dry red wine
- 250 ml vegetable broth
- 400 ml strained tomatoes
- Tabasco (to taste)
Instructions
- 1. Peel the onion and cut it in half.
- 2. Cut the onion halves into strips that are 3 to 4 millimeters wide.
- 3. Peel the garlic clove and chop it finely.
- 4. Cut the sausages into 4-centimeter-long pieces.
- 5. Heat the oil in a pan.
- 6. Fry the sausage pieces in the pan until browned on all sides.
- 7. Remove the sausages from the pan and set them aside.
- 8. Fry the onion strips in the same pan.
- 9. Add the tomato paste and let it sizzle briefly.
- 10. Season the mixture with salt, pepper, paprika, bay leaf, and curry.
- 11. Pour the wine, broth, and tomatoes into the pan.
- 12. Let the goulash simmer on low heat for about 10 minutes.
- 13. Add the prepared sausages back into the pan.
- 14. Finish the flavor with a few drops of Tabasco sauce.
