🍽️ Vegetable Pan with Sausages

Ingredients
- 8 raw coarse frying sausages
- bell peppers (each 1 yellow, red and green)
- 1 white onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 250 ml meat broth
- 100 ml water
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 250 g cocktail tomatoes
- 2 tbsp sunflower oil
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- 1 tsp sugar
Instructions
- 1. Thoroughly wash the peppers under running water.
- 2. Cut the peppers in half and remove the inner core with the seeds.
- 3. Cut the pepper pieces into small cubes.
- 4. Peel the onion and dice it finely.
- 5. Peel the garlic clove and leave it whole.
- 6. Rinse the cherry tomatoes briefly.
- 7. Heat the oil in a pan.
- 8. Sauté the onion cubes in the hot oil until soft.
- 9. Add the pepper cubes to the onion in the pan.
- 10. Cover the pan with a lid.
- 11. Cook the vegetables on medium heat for about 10 minutes.
- 12. Stir the vegetables regularly during the cooking time.
- 13. Add the whole garlic clove to the vegetables.
- 14. Deglaze the mixture with broth and water.
- 15. Let the liquid come to a brief boil.
- 16. Stir the tomato paste into the sauce.
- 17. Add the cherry tomatoes to the pan.
- 18. Season the sauce with salt, pepper, and sugar.
- 19. Cover the pan again.
- 20. Let the vegetables simmer for about 5 minutes.
- 21. Place the sausages in the pan.
- 22. Let the sausages cook on low heat for another 5 minutes.
- 23. Serve the dish with fresh, crusty bread.
