🥗 Chicken Salad Wraps with Avocado Cream

Ingredients
- 500 g chicken breast fillet
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- salt
- cayenne pepper
- 2 ripe tomatoes
- 2 red onions
- 6 lettuce leaves (e.g. iceberg lettuce)
- 0.5 cucumber
- 1 ripe avocado
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 4 whole wheat tortilla wraps
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the chicken breast under running water.
- 2. Pat the meat dry with a kitchen towel.
- 3. Cut the chicken breast into small cubes.
- 4. Heat olive oil in a frying pan.
- 5. Add the chicken cubes to the hot pan.
- 6. Fry the meat for 5 to 8 minutes over medium heat.
- 7. Season the chicken with salt and pepper.
- 8. Rinse the tomatoes under running water.
- 9. Quarter the tomatoes and remove the core.
- 10. Cut the tomatoes into small cubes.
- 11. Peel the onions.
- 12. Slice the onions into thin strips.
- 13. Rinse the lettuce leaves under running water.
- 14. Spin the lettuce dry.
- 15. Tear the lettuce into bite-sized pieces.
- 16. Rinse the cucumbers under running water.
- 17. Slice the cucumbers into thin rounds.
- 18. Halve the avocado and remove the pit.
- 19. Scoop the flesh out of the skin and place it in a bowl.
- 20. Mash the avocado flesh with a fork.
- 21. Add lemon juice, salt, and cayenne pepper.
- 22. Mix the avocado cream well.
- 23. Warm the tortilla wraps according to package instructions.
- 24. Spread the avocado cream onto the wraps.
- 25. Top the wraps with tomatoes, onions, cucumbers, lettuce, and chicken.
- 26. Roll the wraps tightly.
- 27. Cut the wraps in half.
- 28. Arrange the wraps on 4 plates.
