🍽️ Wok Shrimps with Curry Flavor

Ingredients
- 1 kg shrimp tails (kitchen-ready)
- 2 red chili peppers
- 8 spring onions
- 3 cm fresh ginger
- 2 garlic cloves
- 3 tbsp peanut oil
- 1 tsp ground turmeric
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp finely chopped lemongrass
- soy sauce
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
Instructions
- 1. Wash the shrimps thoroughly.
- 2. Pat the shrimps dry with a kitchen towel.
- 3. Wash the chili peppers.
- 4. Remove the stems and the inside of the chili peppers.
- 5. Slice the chili peppers into rings.
- 6. Wash the spring onions.
- 7. Remove the ends of the spring onions.
- 8. Finely chop the spring onions.
- 9. Peel the ginger.
- 10. Peel the garlic cloves.
- 11. Finely chop the ginger.
- 12. Finely chop the garlic.
- 13. Heat the oil in a hot wok.
- 14. Add turmeric, cumin, lemongrass, and ginger to the hot oil.
- 15. Sauté the spices and the ginger piece briefly.
- 16. Add the chili rings, the spring onions, and the garlic.
- 17. Sauté the ingredients for about 1 minute.
- 18. Add the shrimps to the wok.
- 19. Fry the shrimps for 2 to 3 minutes.
- 20. Let the shrimps rest briefly.
- 21. Season the dish with soy sauce.
- 22. Salt to taste.
- 23. Pepper to taste.
