🍽️ Cozy Savoy Cabbage and Sausage Stew

Ingredients
- 1 Savoy cabbage
- 5 carrots
- 400 g Morteau sausage (1 Morteau sausage), alternatively ham stick
- 1 l meat broth (instant)
- 0.5 tsp caraway seeds
- 1 pinch coriander seeds
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
Instructions
- 1. Remove the outer leaves from the Savoy cabbage and cut the head into quarters.
- 2. Cut out the hard core from the cabbage.
- 3. Slice the soft leaves into thin strips.
- 4. Rinse the cut cabbage strips in a sieve under running water.
- 5. Peel the carrots and cut them into small cubes.
- 6. Bring the meat broth to a boil in a pot.
- 7. Add the sausage to the boiling broth and let it cook for about 10 minutes.
- 8. Remove the sausage from the broth and set it aside.
- 9. Slice the prepared sausage into rounds.
- 10. Add the diced carrots and the cut cabbage strips along with the spices to the still hot broth.
- 11. Let the vegetables simmer in the broth for about 5 minutes.
- 12. Add the sausage slices back into the pot.
- 13. Let everything simmer for another 3 to 4 minutes.
- 14. Season the stew to taste with salt and pepper at the end.
