  1. 1. Peel the onion and garlic. Dice both ingredients very finely.
  2. 2. Peel the potatoes and wash them thoroughly. Cut them into small pieces.
  3. 3. Wash the savoy cabbage and remove the hard stems. Chop the leafy greens into small pieces as well.
  4. 4. Rinse the lentils under cold water and let them drain well.
  5. 5. Heat some oil in a pot. Sauté the onions and garlic in it until they are soft and translucent.
  6. 6. Stir in the tomato paste and let it fry briefly.
  7. 7. Deglaze the mixture with the vegetable broth.
  8. 8. Add the potato pieces, savoy cabbage, and lentils to the pot.
  9. 9. Let the soup simmer on low heat for about 15 minutes until everything is tender.
  10. 10. Finely chop the dill and stir it into the finished soup.
  11. 11. Season the soup to taste with salt and pepper.
  12. 12. Serve the soup hot and enjoy.
