  3. 3. Roughly chop the almonds, walnuts, and fruits.
  4. 4. Separate the eggs and beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form.
  5. 5. Whisk the marzipan with the sugar and vanilla sugar in a bowl.
  6. 6. Add the rum flavoring and the orange zest.
  7. 7. Stir in the egg yolks one by one, and then stir in the butter.
  8. 8. Add the starch, baking powder, and salt, and mix everything well.
  9. 9. Mix the chopped fruits and nuts with the powdered sugar and the flour.
  10. 10. Fold in the fruit and nut mixture and the egg whites into the butter mixture.
  11. 11. Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
  12. 12. Smooth the surface.
