  1. 1. Roast the nuts in a dry pan while stirring constantly until they are fragrant.
  2. 2. Remove the nuts from the pan and let them cool completely.
  3. 3. Mix the cooled nuts with gingerbread spice and orange peel.
  4. 4. Grease a large Bundt cake pan (approx. 24 cm diameter) and dust it with breadcrumbs.
  5. 5. Beat butter, sugar, vanilla sugar, and salt until creamy.
  6. 6. Add the eggs one by one to the butter-sugar mixture.
  7. 7. Stir in flour, baking powder, the spiced nuts, and cream.
  8. 8. Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
  9. 9. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  10. 10. Bake the cake in the preheated oven for about 50 minutes.
  11. 11. Cover the cake with aluminum foil if necessary to prevent it from becoming too dark.
  12. 12. Remove the Bundt cake from the oven and let it cool.
  13. 13. Turn the cake out of the pan.
  14. 14. Melt the chocolate coatings separately in a water bath.
  15. 15. Drizzle the cake alternately with the melted chocolate coatings.
  16. 16. Finally, sprinkle the cake with almonds.
