🍽️ Crispy Wiener Schnitzel with French Fries

Ingredients
- 4 thin veal cutlets (approx. 120-140 g each)
- 2 eggs
- 4 tbsp flour
- 70 g breadcrumbs
- 4 tbsp clarified butter
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- 600 g french fries (frozen, for the baking sheet)
- 1 lemon
Instructions
- 1. Pound the meat flat with a meat mallet until it is evenly thin.
- 2. Place the flour on a flat plate.
- 3. Place the breadcrumbs on a second flat plate.
- 4. Beat the eggs loosely in a deep bowl with a fork.
- 5. Season the schnitzels with salt and pepper.
- 6. Coat the schnitzels in the flour first and shake off any excess flour.
- 7. Dip the schnitzels into the beaten eggs.
- 8. Then coat the schnitzels in the breadcrumbs until they are completely covered.
- 9. Heat 2 tablespoons of ghee in each of two separate pans.
- 10. Fry the schnitzels on each side for about 6 minutes until golden brown.
- 11. Prepare the French fries according to the package instructions in the oven on a baking sheet.
- 12. Serve the schnitzels together with the French fries and lemon slices.
