  1. 1. Whisk the egg whites with a pinch of salt until foamy, but do not beat until stiff.
  2. 2. Mix the chopped chocolate with the nuts, powdered sugar, and spices.
  3. 3. Stir the chocolate mixture into the egg whites until a uniform dough forms.
  4. 4. If the dough seems too dry, knein ground almonds into it as needed.
  5. 5. Shape the dough into two rolls, each about 3 centimeters thick.
  6. 6. Roll the dough logs in sugar.
  7. 7. Wrap the rolls in plastic wrap and chill them in the refrigerator for one hour.
  8. 8. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
  9. 9. Slice the dough rolls into rounds about 1 centimeter thick.
  10. 10. Place the slices on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
  11. 11. Place half a walnut on top of each slice as decoration.
  12. 12. Bake the cookies in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes.
  13. 13. Remove the trays from the oven and let the cookies cool down completely.
  14. 14. Serve the cooled wasp nests and nut coins.
