🍽️ Crunchy Whole Wheat Bread

Ingredients
- 600 g whole wheat flour
- 250 ml lukewarm water
- 1 cube yeast
- 1 tsp cane sugar
- 1 pinch salt
- butter (for the pan)
- 2 tbsp rolled oats
Instructions
- 1. Dissolve the yeast and sugar in lukewarm water.
- 2. Stir the mixture well until everything has dissolved.
- 3. Add the flour and salt to a large mixing bowl.
- 4. Pour the yeast mixture over the dry ingredients.
- 5. Knead everything with the dough hooks of a hand mixer until you have a smooth dough.
- 6. If necessary, add a little more flour or water to achieve the right consistency.
- 7. Cover the bowl.
- 8. Let the dough rise in a warm place for about 45 minutes.
- 9. Spread some flour on a clean work surface.
- 10. Take out the dough and knead it briefly.
- 11. Shape the dough into a round loaf.
- 12. Sprinkle oats on the work surface.
- 13. Roll the loaf in the oats so that it is covered all around.
- 14. Grease a baking pan with some fat.
- 15. Place the loaf in the prepared pan.
- 16. Cover the pan.
- 17. Let the loaf rise for another 15 minutes.
- 18. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees.
- 19. Bake the bread in the oven for 35 to 40 minutes.
- 20. Take the bread out of the oven.
- 21. Let it cool slightly in the pan.
- 22. Turn the bread out of the pan.
- 23. Let the bread cool completely.
