  1. 1. Prepare the white cabbage by cutting it lengthwise into four quarters.
  2. 2. Remove the hard core from each quarter.
  3. 3. Cut the white cabbage flesh crosswise into very fine strips or use a grater.
  4. 4. Place the cut strips in a bowl and sprinkle one teaspoon of salt over them.
  5. 5. Knead the mixture vigorously by hand to draw out the juice.
  6. 6. Let the salted cabbage rest for one hour.
  7. 7. Heat the vegetable broth in a pot.
  8. 8. Add vinegar, oil, and pepper to the warm broth.
  9. 9. Pour this liquid over the prepared cabbage.
  10. 10. Mix everything well so that the cabbage absorbs the marinade.
  11. 11. Let the salad marinate for another thirty minutes.
  12. 12. Place the cabbage in a colander and let the liquid drain off.
  13. 13. Place the drained cabbage back into a clean bowl.
  14. 14. Stir the yogurt into the cabbage.
  15. 15. Season the mixture vigorously with salt and pepper.
  16. 16. Wash the apple thoroughly.
  17. 17. Cut the apple into four parts and remove the core.
  18. 18. Cut the apple pieces into thin wedges.
  19. 19. Wash the grapes.
  20. 20. Dry the grapes with a cloth.
  21. 21. Add the apple wedges and the grapes to the salad.
  22. 22. Sprinkle the sunflower seeds over it.
  23. 23. Mix everything gently until the ingredients are evenly distributed.
