🍽️ Asparagus Vegetable in Oven Bag

Ingredients
- 700 g white asparagus (14 stalks)
- 6 slender carrots
- 20 g ginger (1 piece)
- 1 small organic lime
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- salt
- sugar
- pepper
Instructions
- 1. Wash the white asparagus thoroughly.
- 2. Peel the asparagus with a vegetable peeler.
- 3. Cut off the hard, woody ends of the asparagus stalks.
- 4. Wash the carrots.
- 5. Peel the carrots.
- 6. Cut the carrots in half lengthwise.
- 7. Cut very thick carrots into quarters if necessary.
- 8. Peel the piece of ginger.
- 9. Cut the ginger into very small cubes.
- 10. Wash the lime under running water.
- 11. Dry the lime with a kitchen towel.
- 12. Cut the lime in half.
- 13. Slice the lime halves into thin slices.
- 14. Cut a piece of baking paper to approximately 40 by 40 centimeters.
- 15. Brush the baking paper thinly with oil.
- 16. Sprinkle some salt on the oil.
- 17. Sprinkle some sugar on the oil.
- 18. Sprinkle some pepper on the oil.
- 19. Place the prepared asparagus stalks on the paper.
- 20. Place the carrot pieces on the paper.
- 21. Distribute the ginger cubes over the vegetables.
- 22. Place the lime slices on the vegetables.
- 23. Season the vegetables with some salt.
- 24. Season the vegetables with some pepper.
- 25. Fold the sides of the paper over the vegetables.
- 26. Tie the paper package securely with kitchen twine.
- 27. Preheat the oven.
- 28. Set the oven temperature to 200 degrees Celsius.
- 29. If using fan-assisted heat, set 180 degrees Celsius.
- 30. If using gas, set to level 3.
- 31. Place the package on the middle rack in the oven.
- 32. Bake the vegetables for 25 to 30 minutes.
- 33. Remove the package from the oven.
- 34. Let the package rest for two minutes before serving.
