🍽️ Crunchy white chocolate bars with nuts and dried fruits

Ingredients
- 500 g white couverture chocolate
- 40 ml white rum (or rum flavoring)
- 150 g peeled, whole almonds
- 100 g peeled walnut kernels
- 2 cm fresh ginger
- 80 g dried apricots
Instructions
- 1. Break the white chocolate into large chunks.
- 2. Place the chocolate chunks in a heatproof bowl.
- 3. Pour the rum over the chocolate.
- 4. Place the bowl over a pot of hot, but not boiling, water.
- 5. Melt the chocolate while stirring constantly until smooth.
- 6. Remove the bowl from the pot and set it aside.
- 7. Place the nuts in a dry frying pan.
- 8. Roast the nuts over medium heat until they are fragrant.
- 9. Remove the nuts from the pan and let them cool.
- 10. Coarsely chop the cooled nuts.
- 11. Peel the ginger.
- 12. Grate the ginger finely.
- 13. Cut the apricots into thin strips first.
- 14. Then cut the apricot strips into small cubes.
- 15. Add the chopped nuts, grated ginger, and apricot cubes to the melted chocolate.
- 16. Stir everything well until the ingredients are evenly distributed.
- 17. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
- 18. Spread the chocolate mixture evenly onto the tray.
- 19. Make sure the layer is about one centimeter thick.
- 20. Let the chocolate cool completely and set at room temperature.
- 21. Dip a sharp knife briefly into hot water.
- 22. Dry the knife.
- 23. Cut the set chocolate into strips.
