  1. 1. Break the white chocolate into large chunks.
  2. 2. Place the chocolate chunks in a heatproof bowl.
  3. 3. Pour the rum over the chocolate.
  4. 4. Place the bowl over a pot of hot, but not boiling, water.
  5. 5. Melt the chocolate while stirring constantly until smooth.
  6. 6. Remove the bowl from the pot and set it aside.
  7. 7. Place the nuts in a dry frying pan.
  8. 8. Roast the nuts over medium heat until they are fragrant.
  9. 9. Remove the nuts from the pan and let them cool.
  10. 10. Coarsely chop the cooled nuts.
  11. 11. Peel the ginger.
  12. 12. Grate the ginger finely.
  13. 13. Cut the apricots into thin strips first.
  14. 14. Then cut the apricot strips into small cubes.
  15. 15. Add the chopped nuts, grated ginger, and apricot cubes to the melted chocolate.
  16. 16. Stir everything well until the ingredients are evenly distributed.
  17. 17. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
  18. 18. Spread the chocolate mixture evenly onto the tray.
  19. 19. Make sure the layer is about one centimeter thick.
  20. 20. Let the chocolate cool completely and set at room temperature.
  21. 21. Dip a sharp knife briefly into hot water.
  22. 22. Dry the knife.
  23. 23. Cut the set chocolate into strips.
