🍰 Creamy White Chocolate Mousse with Strawberry Pepper Jam

Ingredients
- 1 vanilla pod
- 150 g white couverture
- 300 ml whipping cream
- 250 g strawberries
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- 1 pinch chili salt
- 0.5 tsp pink peppercorns
Instructions
- 1. Slice the vanilla pod lengthwise.
- 2. Scrape out the tiny seeds from the pod.
- 3. Chop the white chocolate into small pieces.
- 4. Place the chocolate pieces, vanilla seeds, and cream into a small saucepan.
- 5. Heat the mixture gently while stirring until the chocolate has completely melted.
- 6. Remove the saucepan from the heat and let the cream cool down.
- 7. Pour the cooled cream into a bowl.
- 8. Cover the bowl and place it in the refrigerator overnight.
- 9. Wash the strawberries thoroughly the next day.
- 10. Remove the green stems and leaves from the strawberries.
- 11. Cut the strawberries into small pieces.
- 12. Mix the strawberry pieces with the sugar, vanilla sugar, and a pinch of salt.
- 13. Coarsely crush the pink peppercorns using a mortar and pestle or a knife.
- 14. Stir the crushed pepper into the strawberry mixture.
- 15. Let the mixture sit for about 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
- 16. Whip the overnight-chilled chocolate cream with a hand mixer until it is airy and frothy.
- 17. Distribute the whipped mousse into individual glasses.
- 18. Top the mousse with the marinated strawberries and pepper.
- 19. Serve the dessert immediately.
