🍽️ White Bread with Olives

Ingredients
- 250 g flour
- 0.5 cube yeast
- 150 ml dry white wine
- 150 ml olive oil
- 100 g Gruyère cheese (grated)
- 4 eggs
- salt
- 100 g walnut kernels (coarsely chopped)
- olives (50 g each black and green olives, pitted and coarsely chopped)
Instructions
- 1. Dissolve the yeast in two tablespoons of lukewarm water.
- 2. Mix the flour with the yeast solution.
- 3. Stir in the wine and oil gradually.
- 4. Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place for about 30 minutes.
- 5. Stir the eggs and salt into the dough.
- 6. Fold in the cheese and nuts.
- 7. Finally, mix in the olives.
- 8. Shape the dough into a loaf.
- 9. Place the loaf on a greased baking sheet.
- 10. Let the loaf rise again for about 30 minutes.
- 11. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
- 12. Bake the bread for about 1 hour until golden brown.
- 13. Let the bread rest for a few minutes.
- 14. Let it cool completely on a wire rack.
