  1. 1. Put flour, baking powder, sugar, and vanilla sugar into a bowl and mix them.
  2. 2. Add the egg and the butter cut into small pieces.
  3. 3. Crush the mixture with a knife until crumbly lumps form.
  4. 4. Knead the crumbs quickly with your hands into a smooth dough.
  5. 5. Sprinkle some flour on a work surface and roll out the dough on it.
  6. 6. The dough should be the size of a baking tray measuring 38 by 28 centimeters.
  7. 7. Wrap the dough around the rolling pin and carefully unroll it onto the greased baking tray.
  8. 8. Press the dough firmly into the corners and edges of the tray.
  9. 9. Beat the eggs with water, sugar, and vanilla sugar in a separate bowl until frothy.
  10. 10. Mix flour and baking powder and sift the mixture over the egg mixture.
  11. 11. Add the almonds and the butter and stir everything well.
  12. 12. Spread the sponge cake mixture evenly over the shortcrust base.
  13. 13. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees (Gas level 3 to 4 or fan 180 degrees).
  14. 14. Bake the cake for about 15 minutes in the preheated oven.
  15. 15. Mix 200 milliliters of milk with the pudding powder in a small bowl.
  16. 16. Bring the remaining milk to a boil in a pot.
  17. 17. Stir the mixed pudding mixture into the boiling milk.
  18. 18. Allow the mixture to come to a boil once while stirring constantly.
  19. 19. Stir sugar and cottage cheese into the pudding mixture.
  20. 20. Rinse the grapes and cut them in half.
  21. 21. Gently fold the grapes into the pudding mixture.
  22. 22. Spread the filling evenly over the sponge base.
  23. 23. Bake the cake for another 30 minutes.
