  1. 1. Fill a pot with a little water and place it on the stove.
  2. 2. Place a heatproof bowl over the pot so that it does not touch the water.
  3. 3. Bring the water to a gentle simmer, but do not let it boil vigorously.
  4. 4. Put the milk chocolate coating into the bowl.
  5. 5. Stir the chocolate slowly until it is completely liquid and smooth.
  6. 6. Rinse the grapes under running water.
  7. 7. Dry the grapes thoroughly with a kitchen towel.
  8. 8. Carefully poke a hairpin into the side of each grape.
  9. 9. Gently lift the seeds out of the fruit.
  10. 10. Carefully peel the skin off the grape using a small knife.
  11. 11. Skewer a pitted grape onto a wooden stick.
  12. 12. Dip half of the grape into the melted chocolate.
  13. 13. Let the excess chocolate drip off for a moment.
  14. 14. Stick the skewers into a raw potato so they stand upright.
  15. 15. Let the chocolate air dry until it is firm.
  16. 16. Repeat the process with the remaining grapes.
  17. 17. Use the finished skewers as decoration for desserts.
