  2. 2. Lay the grape leaves flat on a kitchen towel.
  3. 3. Wash the chili pepper thoroughly.
  4. 4. Cut the chili pepper in half lengthwise.
  5. 5. Remove the seeds and white pith from the chili pepper.
  6. 6. Finely chop the chili pepper.
  7. 7. Cut the cheese into small cubes.
  8. 8. Mix the cut cheese with the cream cheese.
  9. 9. Add the chopped chili pepper to the cheese mixture.
  10. 10. Add the lemon juice to the mixture.
  11. 11. Season the filling with salt.
  12. 12. Season the filling with pepper.
  13. 13. Take one tablespoon of the cheese mixture.
  14. 14. Place the cheese mixture onto a single grape leaf.
  15. 15. Fold the left side of the grape leaf over the filling.
  16. 16. Fold the right side of the grape leaf over the filling.
  17. 17. Roll the grape leaf tightly from bottom to top into a roll.
  18. 18. Distribute the filled rolls into small bowls.
  19. 19. Garnish the bowls with fresh herb leaves.
  20. 20. Place one chili pepper as decoration alongside.
  21. 21. Serve the grape leaves with freshly toasted white bread.
