🍽️ Colorful Icing Christmas Cookies

Ingredients
- 300 g flour
- 100 g sugar
- 200 g butter
- 1 egg
- 200 g powdered sugar
- 3 tbsp lemon juice
- food coloring
- sugar writing in various colors (black, brown, white, green, red, yellow, blue)
Instructions
- 1. Quickly mix flour, sugar, egg, and cold butter into a dough.
- 2. Shape the dough into a ball.
- 3. Wrap the dough ball in cling film.
- 4. Place the foil in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
- 5. Dust your work surface with some flour.
- 6. Roll out the dough on the floured surface to a thickness of 0.5 centimeters.
- 7. Cut out eight large Christmas shapes from the dough.
- 8. Use a template or cut the rough shape freehand.
- 9. You can also cut out other figures like a Santa, a reindeer, a gift, or a snowman.
- 10. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
- 11. Place the cut-out dough figures on the tray.
- 12. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius with fan (convection).
- 13. Bake the cookies for about 10 minutes.
- 14. Remove the cookies from the oven and let them cool down.
- 15. Mix powdered sugar and lemon juice to form an icing.
- 16. Divide the icing into portions.
- 17. Color the individual portions as you like using food coloring.
- 18. Decorate the cooled figures artistically with the icing and sugar writing.
