  1. 1. Crush the cardamom pods in a mortar.
  2. 2. Remove the shells from the pods.
  3. 3. Grind the seeds finely.
  4. 4. Slice the vanilla pod lengthwise.
  5. 5. Coarsely crush the star anise, cloves, and cinnamon stick in the mortar.
  6. 6. Do not grind the spices too finely.
  7. 7. Leave the pink berries whole.
  8. 8. Pour the grape spirit into a large jar.
  9. 9. Stir the honey into the grape spirit.
  10. 10. Add the spices to the jar.
  11. 11. Add the whole dried fruits to the jar.
  12. 12. Seal the jar.
  13. 13. Let the liqueur infuse at room temperature for at least 4 weeks.
  14. 14. Strain the spiced liqueur through a fine sieve.
  15. 15. Gently squeeze the soaked fruits.
  16. 16. Use the dried fruits, for example, for baking.
  17. 17. Discard the spices.
  18. 18. Filter the Christmas liqueur again.
  19. 19. Catch fine spice particles in the process.
  20. 20. Fill the liqueur into bottles or decanters.
  21. 21. Add a vanilla stick or cinnamon stick as decoration if desired.
