  1. 1. Poke the orange several times with a fork. Put all ingredients (except the sugar) in a jar and fill with grain alcohol. Let the mixture steep for about 5 weeks in a cool place.
  2. 2. After the steeping time, strain the liqueur through a cotton cloth.
  3. 3. Boil the sugar together with water to make a syrup. Mix the syrup with the liqueur and fill into a bottle. Let the sealed liqueur rest for another 3 weeks, then strain again through a coffee filter and pour into a clean bottle.
