🍳 Soft-boiled eggs on buttered toast with herbs

Ingredients
- 4 eggs
- 1 stalk parsley
- 1 stalk basil
- 4 slices toast bread
- 3 tbsp melted butter
Instructions
- 1. Bring a pot of water to a boil.
- 2. Carefully place the eggs into the boiling water.
- 3. Cook the eggs for 6 to 8 minutes until the whites are set but the yolk is still runny (soft-boiled).
- 4. Rinse the fresh herbs under running water.
- 5. Shake the herbs dry.
- 6. Finely chop the herb leaves.
- 7. Toast the bread slices until golden brown.
- 8. Cut the toast slices into narrow strips.
- 9. Spread the toast strips thinly with butter.
- 10. Sprinkle the chopped herbs over the toast strips.
- 11. Serve the soft-boiled eggs together with the toast strips.
