Ingredients
- 600 g watermelon flesh
- juice of one organic orange
- 1 packet gel setting agent
- 400 g sugar
- 1 packet citric acid
Instructions
- 1. Press the flesh of the watermelon through a sieve to obtain about 400 ml of juice. Then combine the watermelon juice with orange juice and add water to reach 750 ml.
- 2. Mix the gelling agent and 2 tablespoons of sugar with citric acid. Add the watermelon juice, bring to a boil, stirring in the remaining sugar, let it boil for one minute, and pour into jars with twist-off lids.
- 3. Seal the jars tightly, place them upside down for 15 minutes, then turn them over and let them cool.
