  1. 1. Press the flesh of the watermelon through a sieve to obtain about 400 ml of juice. Then combine the watermelon juice with orange juice and add water to reach 750 ml.
  2. 2. Mix the gelling agent and 2 tablespoons of sugar with citric acid. Add the watermelon juice, bring to a boil, stirring in the remaining sugar, let it boil for one minute, and pour into jars with twist-off lids.
  3. 3. Seal the jars tightly, place them upside down for 15 minutes, then turn them over and let them cool.
