  1. 1. Put the sugar, grenadine, and 100 milliliters of water into a pot.
  2. 2. Bring the mixture to a boil on the stove.
  3. 3. Let it simmer for 1 to 2 minutes.
  4. 4. Remove the pot from the heat and let the syrup mixture cool down completely.
  5. 5. Puree the watermelon flesh and the selected raspberries finely.
  6. 6. Press the puree through a fine sieve to make it smooth.
  7. 7. Stir in the lemon juice and the grenadine into the sieved puree.
  8. 8. Fill the mixture into four small ice molds.
  9. 9. Place the molds in the ice cream maker and freeze the ice for at least 4 hours.
  10. 10. Just before the ice becomes firm, insert a wooden stick into each mold.
  11. 11. Place a hollowed-out watermelon half over the stick when serving the ice.
