🍰 Walnut Tart

Ingredients
- 150 g spelt flour
- 80 g sugar
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 pinch salt
- 100 g cold butter
- 1 egg
- 50 g whipping cream
- 0.25 tsp cinnamon
- 200 g walnuts
Instructions
- 1. Knead spelt flour with 30 g sugar, one egg yolk, salt, and 80 g diced butter. Shape the dough into a ball, wrap it in cling film, and let it rest in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
- 2. Grease the baking pan as needed and lightly dust with flour. Roll out the dough and line the pan with it. Prick the base several times with a fork. Blind bake in a preheated oven at 180 °C (convection 160 °C; gas: level 2–3) for about 15 minutes.
- 3. Mix the remaining sugar well with the egg and cream. Melt the remaining butter and stir it in together with cinnamon and nuts into the egg mixture.
- 4. Spread the mixture over the pre-baked base and bake for approx. 35 minutes until done. Let the walnut tart cool in the pan and then serve.
