Ingredients
- 150 g flour
- 80 g sugar
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 pinch salt
- 100 g cold butter
- 1 egg
- 50 g whipping cream
- 2 tbsp rum
- 0.25 tsp cinnamon
- 350 g walnut kernels
- flour (for the work surface)
- butter (for the pan)
Instructions
- 1. Process the flour with 30 g sugar, the egg yolk, a pinch of salt, and 80 g of diced butter into a dough. Shape the dough into a ball, wrap it in cling film, and refrigerate for 2 hours.
- 2. Roll out the dough and line the greased baking pan with it. Prick the base several times with a fork. Blind bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (middle rack) for about 15 minutes.
- 3. Thoroughly mix the remaining sugar with the egg and the cream. Melt the remaining butter and stir it in along with the rum, cinnamon, and walnuts.
- 4. Spread the mixture evenly over the base and bake for about 35 minutes. Then let it cool in the pan.
