Ingredients
- 100 g walnut kernels
- 180 g wheat flour Type 550
- 100 g sugar
- 150 g butter
- 2 tbsp Amaretto
- 100 g walnut kernels
- powdered sugar (for dusting)
Instructions
- 1. Finely chop the walnuts.
- 2. Add flour, sugar, and the chopped walnuts to a bowl.
- 3. Cut the butter into small cubes.
- 4. Add the butter cubes and Amaretto liqueur to the flour mixture.
- 5. Chop the ingredients with a knife until a crumbly mixture forms.
- 6. Knead the crumbs into a smooth dough.
- 7. Shape small balls from the dough (about 15 grams each).
- 8. Place the balls with spacing on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- 9. Press a walnut half gently into each dough ball.
- 10. Preheat the oven to 175 degrees (convection: 160 degrees, gas: level 2-3).
- 11. Bake the cookies for about 15 minutes.
- 12. Dust the finished cookies with powdered sugar.
